Welcome
NEW TO SAINT JAMES? WELCOME!
We are so glad you are here!
Whether you are visiting Tupelo, settling into a new home in the area, returning to the Church, or simply exploring our rich Catholic faith, you have a place at Saint James Catholic Church. You do not need to have everything figured out. We are here to walk alongside you, guide you, and answer any questions you might have.
Rev. Timothy Murphy
- Our Mission: To love God, serve His people, and become a united community in Jesus Christ!
- For all newcomer questions and prayer requests, we would love to talk with you. Please call or text a welcome team member anytime at 662.460.4020.
- Thinking about attending Mass? Don’t worry at all if you don’t quite know what’s going on – follow along and do as others do if you’d like (sit, kneel, stand, Sign of the Cross, etc.) OR… if you just want to sit and take it in that’s fine too. Everyone is happy to have you here, especially God! Mass times are here.
- Become Catholic. The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) is a process that allows newcomers an opportunity to learn more about the Catholic faith – what we believe and why we do what we do – in a supportive and prayerful classroom environment. More info
